Town of Caledon recruiting staff for newly expanded Caledon East Community Complex

July 19, 2023 (CALEDON, ON) – The Caledon East Community Complex (CECC) is almost ready to open, the programming is set, now all that’s needed is a team of eager staff to help bring the newly expanded facility to life!

Throughout the coming weeks, the Town of Caledon will be recruiting staff to fill a number of part-time positions. New staff will help run recreation programming and help operate the 52,000 square-foot expanded CECC.

“We’re excited to open the doors of the CECC to residents on September 5, and we’re looking for new employees to join our team and help us hit the ground running,” said Jessica Stovin, Manager of Community Recreation. “We need staff to help run our general programs, aquatics, fitness and much more, and I encourage residents to apply to join our team and get involved!”

Part-time positions available:

  • General Program Instructors (Archery; Baking and Cooking; Preschool; Science; Sport (Basketball, Floor Hockey, and/or Soccer) Science; Visual and Performing Arts (Art and Dance) and Drop-In Attendant.
  • Aquatics (Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, Aquafit Instructor)
  • Skating (Skate Instructor, Public Skate Guard)
  • Fitness (Group Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers
  • Inclusion Facilitator
  • Facility Attendant
  • Recreation Customer Service

The CECC is set to open on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for Saturday, September 16, 2023.
